| Mountains |
| Great Salmon River
Salmon run in hordes in the Great Salmon River. It is an ideal hunting ground for grizzly bears, but the fish are slowly disappearing. It is said that the spirits of dead grizzlies become one with the water, and that to flow to the end of the river is to be forgotten by the living.

| Highest Mountain
This huge mountan is roamed by many grizzly bears. Travelers beware! They will be very territorial.

| Eastern Mountains
The eastern mountains are very cold and covered with ice. It is a difficult place to live, but a few have managed it.

| Southern Mountains
These mountains are covered in forests, and a few black bears have lived here. However, for most small bears, the elevations are too high, and therefore the great grizzlies rule.

| Spirit Woods
The spirits of dead black bears are said to become tall trees. This is the sacred ground to all black bears and most other forest bears.

| Northern Forest
The largest forest of all, the Northern Forest is home to many bears and covers land for miles.

A small pine forest with many berries, this is an ideal and very competitive home for bears who can eat berries.

A river that runs between the forests, this provides the forest bears with water.

| Soul Waters
The ice water edging the Artic ice, the spirits of polar bears are said to ascend to the sky when this area melts from ice to water.

| Smoothpelt Camps
Brave smoothpelts often come here to make exploration and track polar bear behavior. Beware! You may be trapped by one!
